Everything you need to know about Talking Manual

For dealerships

A voice assistant for each car you sell. Owners scan a code once at delivery, add it to their home screen, and can then ask anything about their car by voice or text. It answers from the manufacturer's official documents for that exact model, and sends anything that needs a person to your team.

No. Customer service is where people go when something has gone wrong. Talking Manual is for the everyday questions nobody would call about: how a feature works, what a light means, how to charge or pair a phone. It takes routine calls off your team, and when a person is needed it hands them the request already explained.

No. The code opens a web page that can be added to the home screen, where it looks and works like an app. There is nothing to install and no account to create.

From the official owner's manuals, infotainment guides and warranty booklets for each model, which we load during setup, plus the details of the individual car. The assistant says where an answer came from, and it checks recalls live against the US government's database.

The assistant confirms how the owner wants to be reached, then emails your chosen inbox (service, sales or parts) with the request, the owner's contact details, their earlier requests and the recent conversation.

It says so plainly, and offers to pass the question to your team. It is designed not to guess at specifications, prices or safety matters.

Usually a few business days, depending on how many models you sell. We load the documents, set up your branding and inboxes, and send print-ready code sheets for your delivery folders.

For owners

Your conversations are shared only with the dealership behind your car, and only when you ask for something to be passed on. We do not sell personal data. See our privacy policy for details.

Pricing

A one-time setup of $499 per dealership location, then a monthly plan based on voice minutes, from $49 a month. Typed chat, owners and cars are unlimited on every plan. See the pricing page for the full ladder.

Time spent in voice conversations, measured to the second. Typed chat never counts. A typical owner conversation lasts about three minutes.
