For boat dealers
Every boat comes with two manuals. Give it one voice that knows both.
Talking Manual gives each owner a voice assistant that knows their exact boat and its engine, from the builder's and the engine maker's own manuals. Owners ask at the ramp and at the dock instead of calling you. Anything that needs a person goes straight to your service team.
No app to download. Owners scan once at delivery and it lives on their home screen.
See it in action
A first weekend on the water, recorded live.
A new pontoon owner asks her boat what to check before launching and how many people it can carry, then asks the dealer to winterize it. Nothing on the assistant's side is scripted.
Delivery day ends at the dock. The questions start at the ramp.
A new boat owner is suddenly responsible for an engine, a fuel system, batteries, a bilge pump, a trailer and the safety gear, each with its own manual, and a boat builder's manual on top. Your delivery walkthrough covers it once. Then the questions come on a Saturday morning at a crowded ramp: is the drain plug in, why won't it start, how many people can we take, what oil does it need, how do I winterize it. They call you, or they guess. Talking Manual answers the small questions any hour of the day, and makes sure the big ones reach you.
This is not customer service
It is there at the ramp, where your service desk can't be.
Nobody calls customer service to ask which way to turn the battery switch. Talking Manual is for the questions that come up every trip, long before anything breaks.
| Customer service | Talking Manual | |
|---|---|---|
| When it's used | When something has gone wrong | Every trip, from the first launch |
| What people ask | Faults, complaints, warranty claims | "What do I check before I go?", "What oil does it take?", "How do I winterize it?" |
| How it starts | Find the number, wait on hold | Tap an icon, at the ramp, on a Saturday morning |
| What it knows | Whatever the owner explains | The exact boat, its engine, its manuals and the owner's history |
| Recalls | Look it up yourself | Checks the US Coast Guard recall list live, for the boat and the engine |
| When a person is needed | Starts from scratch | Arrives already explained: the boat, the engine, the problem and the conversation |
Questions nobody would call customer service about
Careful by design. Someone overboard, fire or taking on water gets "life jackets on, call the Coast Guard on channel 16 or 911" first. A fuel smell means stop and ventilate. It never says it is safe to go out, and never gives weather, depth or route advice.
How it works
Set up once. Every owner gets their own assistant.
We load your brands
The official owner's manuals, warranties and specifications for the boats and engines you sell. Add your own service menu, storage and winterization packages from your portal.
A code at delivery
Type the hull number, the model and the engine. Each boat gets its own code on a sheet in the owner's packet; you scan it together at delivery.
Owners just ask
By voice or by typing, at any hour. Answers come from the manuals for that exact boat and engine. When a person is needed, the request goes to your service team with the conversation attached.
A real one, working today
Meet the assistant for a 2026 Avalon LSZ with a Mercury 115.
It answers from Avalon's 128-page owner's manual, its warranty and 2026 capacity ratings, and from Mercury's own manual and warranty for the engine. It checks the Coast Guard's recall list live. Ask it how to launch, how many people it carries, or how to winterize the engine.
Voice works best on a phone. Talking Manual is not affiliated with Avalon or Mercury; the demo uses their public manuals.

What your dealership gets
Owners who boat with confidence, and a service department they come back to.
Fewer "how do I" calls
Launching, batteries, the bilge pump, gauges, oil and fuel: answered on the spot, so your technicians can work on boats.
Service comes to you
"Have the dealer call me" lands in your inbox. Winterization, storage, spring commissioning and warranty work start with you, not a shop across the lake.
A delivery that lasts
Everything you showed them at the dock, available again at the ramp, in their words, for as long as they own the boat.
It knows the owner
Contact details come from your records and are confirmed, never asked twice. Past requests are remembered and included when something reaches you.
Careful by design
It answers from the official documents and says so, never guesses a capacity or a horsepower, checks recalls live, and puts safety on the water first.
Boat and engine together
Pontoons, center consoles, bowriders, fishing and wake boats. It reads the builder's manual and the engine maker's, so owners get one answer.
Pricing
