Terms of service
The terms for businesses that use Talking Manual and for the people who talk to its assistants.
Talking Manual is provided by Archieboy Holdings, LLC ("we"). By using the website or an assistant, you agree to these terms.
What the assistant is
Each assistant answers questions about a specific product, using the manufacturer's documents and other information the business provides. It is an AI agent: it can be wrong, and the official documents, the manufacturer and the business remain the authority. It is not a substitute for inspection or repair by a qualified technician. In an emergency, stop safely and call 911.
For owners
The assistant is free for you to use. Please use it for its intended purpose: questions about your product and requests to the business behind it. Do not use it to send abusive, unlawful or automated traffic. Requests you send go to the business, which decides how to respond; we do not guarantee a response time on the business's behalf.
For businesses
Plans, included voice minutes and extra-minute rates are as shown on our pricing page or in your written quote. Setup fees are charged once per location. Plans renew monthly until cancelled; a move to a larger plan takes effect straight away and a move to a smaller plan at the end of the billing month. Extra minutes are billed at your plan's rate. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and contact addresses you give us, and for responding to requests the assistant sends you.
Content
Manufacturer documents remain the property of their owners and are used to answer questions about the products they describe. Businesses keep ownership of the material they supply and give us permission to use it to provide the service.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. Our total liability to a business is limited to the fees it paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Changes
We may update these terms. Businesses will be told of material changes before they take effect.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
