For gyms and fitness studios
Give every member a trainer who knows your gym.
Film one walk through your gym. Talking Manual turns it into an AI trainer that knows every machine and where it is, answers training questions, and explains any machine from a photo. Members scan the poster on your wall and just ask.
No app for members to download, and no sign-up. It lives on their home screen after the first scan.
See it in action
From a walkthrough video to a trainer on the wall.
A gym owner films his gym, checks the guide Talking Manual writes from it, and prints the poster. Then a member asks where the ab machine is, what to do for her glutes, and how to use a machine she has never tried. Nothing on the trainer's side is scripted.
Your trainers can't be on the floor every hour you're open.
A new member walks in at six in the morning. They don't know where anything is, they have never used half the machines, and they don't want to look lost. So they stick to the treadmill, or they guess at a machine and get it wrong, and a few months later they cancel. Your staff answer the same questions every day when they are there, and nobody answers them when they aren't. Talking Manual gives every member a knowledgeable, patient trainer in their pocket, at any hour, that knows your gym and only your gym.
It knows your gym
Not a generic fitness app. Your floor, your machines, your rules.
Fitness apps know exercise in general. The QR codes on some machines play one clip about that machine. Your trainer knows what this gym has, where it is, and how to use it.
| A fitness app | Talking Manual | |
|---|---|---|
| Knows your equipment | No; it suggests machines you may not have | Every machine and area, from your own walkthrough |
| "Where is it?" | Can't say | "Back left, along the brick wall" |
| "How do I use this?" | Search a video library | Send a photo and it explains that machine |
| Your hours, rules and classes | No | Yes, from what you upload |
| Reaches your staff | No | Personal training, membership or broken equipment, to your inbox |
| For your members | Another download and account | Scan the poster; nothing to install |
What members ask it
Safety comes first. It gives general fitness guidance, never medical advice: pain, dizziness or an injury means stop and get your staff, and it tells people to check with a doctor or a trainer before working around a condition.
How it works
One walkthrough video. One poster. Every member gets a trainer.
Film a walkthrough
Walk slowly through your gym with your phone. Narrate if you like ("the hip thrust machine is back here, please rerack your plates"), or let the equipment speak for itself.
Check the guide
We turn the video into a written guide to every area and machine in minutes. You correct anything we got wrong and publish it. Add your class timetable, hours and house rules too.
Put up the poster
Print the poster with your gym's code, by the entrance and in each area. Members scan it and ask by voice, by typing, or with a photo.
Film when the gym is quiet. We never describe anyone who appears, and the video is deleted as soon as we have read it.
A working one, today
Meet the AI trainer for Quarrystone Fitness.
Quarrystone is a fictional gym we made for this demonstration. Its walkthrough video was built from computer-generated photos and narrated by a voice actor, then read by the same system your gym would use, which wrote the guide the trainer answers from. Ask it where things are, what to do for any muscle group, or send it a photo of a machine.
Voice works best on a phone. Tap the microphone and just talk; you can interrupt it at any time.

What your gym gets
Members who use the whole gym, and keep coming back.
Confident new members
Where things are and how to use them, any hour you're open, without having to ask a stranger or look lost.
Trainers freed from the basics
"Where are the kettlebells?" and "how does this machine adjust?" are answered on the spot, so your staff can coach.
Requests to your team
A member who wants personal training, has a membership question or finds a broken machine is passed to your staff inbox, with their confirmed contact.
See what members ask
Every question, anonymous, in your portal: what members look for, what they can't find, and where they get stuck.
Careful by design
General fitness guidance only, never medical advice. It says when your gym doesn't have something rather than inventing it.
Your trainer, your brand
On the Pro plan, give it a name, a voice and a photo. It always says plainly that it is an AI if anyone asks.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
A general assistant can explain a hip thrust. It can't tell your member that you have a hip thrust machine, where it is, or that the cable station is out of order this week.
| A general AI assistant | Talking Manual | |
|---|---|---|
| Knows your gym | No | Every area and machine, from your walkthrough |
| Your hours, rules and classes | No | Yes, from your documents |
| Reaches your staff | No | Yes, with the member's confirmed contact and the conversation |
| On the wall | Members have to think of it | A poster in every area invites them to ask |
